about the series
After a late night seeing the soulful band The California Honeydrops perform in Mill Valley at the Sweetwater Amphitheater, Ariel got to chatting with the lead vocalist, Lech Wierzynkski. To thank the band for providing free tickets to a later concert, Ariel decided to create this print as a token of thanks.

Ariel collaborated with Elysse Melo to create the illustration, and then carved it out of a linoleum plate and printed multiple editions.
