Baaanana for scale interweaves two unrelated subject matters in a comical, but sweet way: goats and…bananas. In collaboration with Erica Laucella, Ariel and Erica combined their strengths (and imaginations!) to create this illustrated book. Ariel was interested in the humorous and human-like nature of goats, while Erica was exploring the yellow fruit all of UConn was obsessed with. At the time, students across campus were posting pictures to the University student Facebook group of bananas next to common day things, captioning their posts “banana for scale”.
